BMKG: There were 3 aftershocks in Bali after a magnitude 4.8 earthquake

“As of 7.30 WIB this morning, the results of BMKG monitoring showed that there were 3 aftershock activities of magnitude 3.8 (felt in Karangasem III MMI), magnitude 2.7 and magnitude 1.7 which occurred at 3.52 WIB,” said Head of the Earthquake and Disaster Mitigation Agency of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Daryono in his statement, Saturday (16/10/2021).

The after-effects triggered by this earthquake were reported to have caused fatalities due to being buried by landslides in Trunyan Village, Kintamani,” he explained.
